Hello all Funäs friends!
September 13th is the day for the Funäsberget trail clearing day, and we hope you want to join!
The goal of the day is to create more fun trails in the forest for children, open up our overgrown gullies and make the mountain even more fun to experience this winter.
If you would rather contribute in another way, there is also the opportunity to paint signs that will later be put up on the mountain.
We have a limited number of tools, so feel free to bring loppers, pruning shears, a hand saw, or other clearing tools if you have them.
We will gather at Kåvan Restaurang & Bar at 09:00. During the day, we will treat you to a grilled lunch!

Hotel Funäsdalen
Welcome to Hotell Funäsdalen, perfectly located in the heart of the village and open most of the year. As one of the true classics of the Swedish mountains, the hotel dates back to 1947. Here, a warm mountain spirit fills every corner – a feeling that’s been alive for nearly seven decades.

Hostels
Here, you’ll stay simply but comfortably – right in the middle of the village. The hostel is located in the same building as Hotell Funäsdalen and welcomes you with bright, airy spaces and cozy rooms. Spread over two floors, it offers 13 rooms in various sizes.

Both we and our dog felt at home right away. The breakfast was fantastic – with a generous selection and porridge that truly stood out, a real treat for us porridge lovers. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
