Ski school in Funäsdalen - for all ages and levels

Our own ski school in Funäsdalen invites to adventures for everyone, whether your ski career is just starting or if you want to take your skiing to a higher level. We offer a personal and dedicated ski school that sees you and spends time on you. With us, you will not be one in the crowd, we believe that the foundation for development on skis lies in trust, commitment and joy.

We offer group ski school and private lessons, Monday to Friday from December 21 (week 52) to April 16 (week 15, 2027).

4-6 years

Green - Discoverers (Very easy skiing)

With the discoverers, you start your ski career in Funäsdalen's ski school. The focus is on discovering that skiing is fantastic fun. We learn how to plow, get stops and ride button lifts. We spend most of our time in and around Lo-landet where we learn the basics of skiing.

Blue - Explorers (Easy ride)

The plow has been sitting since before and now we start looking around for some new places to go. You'll find us at first in Lolandet, then we'll disappear towards the park and maybe even up to the top! A little fun forest trails are never wrong either!

7-10 years

Green - Discoverers (Very easy skiing)

With the discoverers you start your ski career in Funäsdalsberget's ski school. The focus is on discovering that skiing is fantastic fun. We learn how to plow, get stops and ride button lifts. We spend most of our time in and around Lo-landet where we learn the basics of skiing.

Blue - Explorers (Easy ride)

The plow is already in place and now we start looking around for some new places to go. You'll find us on blue slopes at first, then we'll disappear towards the park and maybe even up to the top! A little fun forest trails are never wrong either!

Red - Challengers (Medium difficulty)

Challengers are pushing their limits further. Now the focus is on skiing with parallel skis on both blue and red slopes to control speed. You'll often find us out in the system, trying out new challenges every day - both on and off-piste.

Black - Adventurers (Advanced skiing)

For adventurers, the whole mountain is open. We ride everywhere and aim to ride parallel everywhere, while trying to turn all the time to control speed. We go everywhere in all types of terrain and slopes and are constantly looking for the next adventure.

Private Lesson – Ski & Snowboard

Refine your technique with the help of our skilled ski instructors

Do you want to find a better flow, feel more confident on the slopes, or take your skiing to the next level? With a private lesson, you get your own instructor who tailors the lesson to you and your goals.

We help you find the feeling in your first turns, refine your technique, or challenge you further, whether it is about carving, becoming more confident in the terrain, or developing jumps, tricks, and park riding.

You choose the focus. We help you have even more fun on skis or your snowboard.

Group lesson 5 days

5 days – 1-hour lesson: SEK 1550
Can be booked from week 52, 2026.

Private lesson

1 hour private alpine/snowboard lesson: 950 kr
(+450 SEK for each additional person)
Can be booked from December 21, 2026.

Which groups will run which week depends on demand.
The time for the lesson is determined before the current week and is confirmed via email.
For group lessons, the price is fixed regardless of the number of days used.

Get the most out of ski school

Tips and tricks for those with children in ski school
Make sure to use the restroom before the class starts.
Make sure the baby has food in its stomach.
Come rested and with "fresh legs".
Wear clothes according to the weather and consider the possible cold effect. We recommend the multi-layer principle.
As a parent and caregiver, we recommend to "see but not be seen". This means that you are allowed to watch, but in a place where children cannot see you.
