Child-friendly ski resort

Ski school for beginners, wide slopes for those who have just learned, and short distances for all parents carrying equipment. The village is small enough that you can send your teenager off by themselves without worrying.

A lift pass valid throughout the Funäsfjällen region. Six resorts, one pass, no new ticket every morning. If you want variety, the ski bus takes you around the area at no extra cost.

Start the day right with a breakfast buffet, followed by lunch at 957 meters altitude and something warm to drink at the summit when your legs are tired. In the evening, venison striploin and Arctic char await at the Mountain Restaurant, or après-ski in Kåvan. Everyone is welcome here.

Fjällrestaurangen

On Fjällrestaurangen Experience an evening menu with flavorful dishes from the mountain pantry. Venison tenderloin, arctic char, reindeer stew, and much more, cooked with care and served with a view of Lake Funäsdalen and the Skarv Mountains. Breakfast and lunch are also served, and the restaurant is open to everyone, not just hotel guests.

The Summit Lodge

The Summit Lodge offers a view that’s hard to beat. Here, at an elevation of 957 meters, you’ll find Funäsdalen’s highest-altitude restaurant. No matter the season, you can easily get here by gondola and enjoy coffee and pastries or lunch—always with the mountain vistas as your backdrop.

Kåvan Restaurant & Bar

Wintertime is Kåvan Restaurant & Bar Kåvan Restaurant & Bar is a natural stop in the middle of skiing. Here you will find lunch, coffee and something hot to drink - perfect for a break on the slopes. On the menu you will find both hot dishes, pinsa, pastries and snacks. On selected evenings, we also invite you to après-ski and pina parties.

Car: 560 km from Stockholm, 710 km from Gothenburg and 970 km from Malmö.
Buses and coaches The Härjedalingen operates on the route between Stockholm, Uppsala, and Gävle six days a week.
Nearest airports: Röros in Norway (about 8 mil), Sveg (about 15 mil), Östersund (about 20 mil).

Dates & Times

The mountain opens on December 18.
The lifts operate daily from 09:00 to 15:00 until February 7, after which they run from 09:00 to 16:00.
The mountain closes on April 18.
